This class focuses on making a silver spinner ring, a multi-part ring with a freely moving outer band. Students will build a base ring from a silver sheet and construct the spinning element, learning how the fit and soldering sequence affect movement and function. Students will have the option to texture one or both parts of the ring.
This class is best suited for students with prior soldering experience who are ready to expand their skills through a more complex project.
Students will finish the series with a completed spinner ring and a deeper understanding of how multi-part forms come together.
