In this class, participants will design, texture, saw, shape, refine, and solder one to two pairs of lightweight brass and/or copper dangle earrings.
This class is open to beginners—whether you’re trying metalsmithing for the first time, want to make something by hand, or are looking to refine your sawing and soldering skills. For those interested in continuing beyond the class, these techniques can be completed at home with a small, approachable toolkit.
Copper and brass are included. Students may choose to work in silver; due to its rising and unpredictable cost, silver will be available for purchase during class.
