This workshop is a quick introduction to jewelry making. Students will use hammers and handmade tools to practice texturing on copper before applying their chosen surface to their silver discs. Students can also gently form the discs to add dimension if they wish. We’ll discuss post placement, solder the earring posts, and finish the earrings with a matte or polished surface. If time allows, students can oxidize (blacken) their earrings. No experience is necessary.
